By carefully exploiting a steeply sloping site in Tighnabruaich with a commanding view of the sea, we have remodelled and extended a modest one storey dwelling to contain a variety of different internal and external spaces, each with unique views to the outside. The split level addition eases the circulation pattern while ensuring that the journey up and down the house is as memorable as the rooms that are the destination.
