We were approached with a strong vision for a building to take pride in as a club and one which would develop its presence as a strong focus in the local community. An over-sailing roof takes the measure of the green with a simple rectilinear edge. Volumes of accommodation are arranged beneath this.
A long function room faces the green and changing rooms and members’ entrance open directly onto it. Service accommodation forms a hard back to the building while the roof extends southwards to shelter a terrace onto the park.
